Combining 38 years’ corporate experience and analytical knowledge with empathy, Tania will guide you toward financial clarity, ensuring your investments align with your life goals. She is the co-founder and managing director of ‘Cartesian Wealth and Advisory’.

As a career banker, she has worked on both sides of the balance sheet for local merchant banks. Her most extended tenure was with the Rand Merchant Bank / FirstRand Group from 1999 – 2018, initially as a structured lending specialist and subsequently as a private banker in the HNW space.

In 2018, she joined global wealth manager and Swiss private bank, Bank Julius Baer, and executed her duties as wealth advisor and client relationship manager, specializing in global wealth management for South African domiciled individuals and offshore structures.

At the end of 2022, Tania transitioned from her career in large corporate to independent wealth and advisory practice, currently servicing her private suite of clients and managing Cartesian Wealth & Advisory. She also serves on the steering committee of ‘100 Women in Finance’, South Africa – a global NPO aimed at gender equity and supporting women at all career stages in the finance sector.

Tania enjoys daily walks on the promenade in Sea Point, Cape Town and is an avid conservationist, loves travelling, the arts and practices yoga to ensure balance in her busy schedule.
